Dads are being encouraged to step up to the ‘oche’ this Saturday (8 February) for a fun dartboard challenge at a special event to promote a fathers group in Wednesbury.
The free event is being held at Health for Living’s Priory Children’s Centre in Dorsett Road, Friar Park, from 11am-1pm and is open to all fathers and their children living in the area.
As well as the darts challenge, there will also be a mobile climbing wall for children who have a head for heights, gardening activities and painting and play-dough play.
Dads will also be able to find out about a regular activity group, which runs every Saturday at Wednesbury Library, especially for fathers and their children.
Liam Edwards, Fathers Worker at the Wednesbury Children’s Centres, said: “This is a great opportunity for dads and male carers to come and see what’s on offer at their local children’s centres.
